About the Role
Join Zurich's growing Intelligent Automation Engineering team as an Intelligent Automation Engineer. You will design, build, and support enterprise automation and AI solutions to enhance customer and employee experiences, reduce manual effort, and enable smarter working. This role is central to Zurich's digital transformation, focusing on scaling Microsoft Power Platform and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
- Build AI-enabled solutions and intelligent workflows to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Develop integrations across enterprise platforms, data sources, and business systems, including SQL, Snowflake, and APIs.
- Support, maintain, and enhance existing automation solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and fitness for purpose.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions within agile delivery teams.
- Contribute to governance, reusable development patterns, and best practices for the safe adoption of low-code and AI technologies across Zurich.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
- Experience with software development using Python or Java, with the ability to build and customize automation solutions.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data integration concepts, with experience connecting solutions to enterprise data platforms like Snowflake.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration patterns within enterprise environments.
- Exposure to Generative AI, Microsoft AI Services, and the wider Azure ecosystem, including emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to quality engineering, governance, and continuous improvement.
