About the Role

Build modern cloud-based data solutions to detect, monitor, and prevent financial crime at scale. Join one of Australia's most advanced engineering environments, working with AWS, Snowflake, and next-generation data platforms to shape the future of data-driven financial crime reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud-native data pipelines.
• Power critical financial crime monitoring, reporting, and insights capabilities.
• Work across modern AWS data technologies including Glue, Redshift, EMR, Iceberg, and Snowflake.
• Transform complex data into trusted products supporting business decisions and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and high-quality data solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the cloud data ecosystem.

Requirements

• Experience designing and building cloud-based data pipelines using AWS technologies (Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, S3, Iceberg).
• Strong data engineering expertise across Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Experience working with Snowflake or demonstrable knowledge of modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Delivered data solutions within Agile engineering environments.
• Enjoy solving complex data challenges.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and modern data management practices.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, automation, and cloud-native delivery approaches.
• Passionate about building next-generation data platforms and creating high-quality outcomes.
