About the Role

The Power Quality (PQ) division at Eaton Electrical provides power management solutions. We are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the software team to deliver EPMS customer projects and services, meeting service requirements, business strategy, alignment, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Review project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
• Allocate and manage resources, conferring with service, operations, engineering, sales, and finance staff to outline project schedules and assign duties.
• Directly manage all project-allocated resources and software team resources.
• Manage coordination between factory, supply chain, project resources, and customers.
• Establish and manage the project plan, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders.
• Direct and coordinate project personnel activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
• Provide accurate project sales forecasts/estimations and manage project expenses.
• Complete project invoicing and revenue generation, including supporting documentation for customer submission.
• Ensure project team activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
• Gather customer information and requirements to identify additional business opportunities.
• Resolve conflicts by identifying root causes, facilitating communication, and guiding the team toward solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in the electrical industry dealing with UPS Systems, DC Systems, and/or low / medium voltage, Data Centre and technical product sales.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the electrical industry dealing with UPS Systems, DC Systems, and/or low / medium voltage, Data Centre and technical product sales.
• Graduate of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree, or any Engineering Degree with project management experience for projects in the electrical industry.
• Formal Project Management qualification (PMP or Prince) or > 5 years experience in project management preferred.
