About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is seeking a Female Part Time Spa Therapist to provide exceptional massages and body treatments, upholding Four Seasons' standards of luxury and genuine care. This role offers the opportunity to shape the guest experience through expert knowledge and service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relaxing and thorough massages and body treatments to guests.
  • Follow all standards set by Four Seasons for sequence of service.
  • Utilize Book4Time and/or any computerized applications.
  • Clean and properly flip the treatment room after each service.
  • Maintain a neat and quiet work area at all times.
  • Maintain a well-stocked treatment room at the end of each shift.
  • Provide information to guests about services offered in the Spa and Fitness Center.
  • Perform all treatments assigned to your shift.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Have knowledge of retail offerings and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
  • Provide professional massages and body treatments for any guest/resident.
  • Provide professional in-room massages if required.
  • Respond appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • Adhere to meal break policy and follow proper payroll procedures.

Requirements

  • High school degree preferred.
  • Current State of New York Massage Therapy License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and preferably Thursdays and Saturdays.
  • Knowledge of Spa Therapist operations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical mobility including lifting, walking, bending, and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Speaking, writing, and reading English is required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work authorization for the location is required.
