About the Role

Support renewable energy construction projects in Japan as a primary on-site contact, managing daily construction, contractor coordination, progress tracking, documentation, quality control, and health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily site management and act as a key on-site contact for construction activities.
  • Monitor work progress, site production, and deviations from the project schedule.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Support materials delivery checks, site documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and quality records.
  • Ensure site activities comply with contract requirements, quality standards, Japanese safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Identify and escalate site risks, design conflicts, or construction issues in a timely manner.
  • Support Construction Managers and Project Managers in smooth and safe project execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, site management, WTG installation, or renewable energy projects.
  • Experience in wind, solar, EPC, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects in Japan is preferred.
  • Good understanding of contractor coordination, site progress monitoring, quality control, documentation, and safety requirements.
  • Business-level Japanese or English communication skills; both languages are preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD or project documentation tools are a plus.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Civil or Electrical Construction Management Engineer certification is a plus.
