About the Role

Seeking a Physiotherapist Aide passionate about enhancing client mobility and quality of life by following routines, reporting changes, and supporting physiotherapy services.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely in a team environment, sharing knowledge and communicating appropriately to deliver best care.
  • Assist with the delivery of individual and group treatments as directed by the physiotherapist, documenting accordingly and deferring to the physiotherapist for changes in presentation.
  • Assist with the efficient delivery of physiotherapy services by ensuring treatment areas are prepared and clients are delivered to treatment areas.
  • Ensure equipment is well maintained and available for use by planning and implementing maintenance routines.
  • Assist with administration, covering Reception as required, and maintaining the hydrotherapy pool.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Experience in physiotherapy assistance.
  • A passion for Aged Care and to learn more about Physiotherapy at Anglicare.
  • Successful completion of background checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance may be required.
