About the Role
Provide on-site leadership at Roselands Leisure and Aquatic Centre, guiding employees, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring high-quality community experiences. This role involves hands-on leadership, Duty Manager shifts, and supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support employees across daily centre operations.
- Undertake a minimum of two Duty Manager shifts per week.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, WHS requirements, and industry standards.
- Oversee emergency responses, incident reporting, and risk management.
- Monitor facility presentation, maintenance, water quality, and plant operations.
- Manage bookings, facility hire, and relationships with centre users.
- Support budgets, administration, and continuous service improvement.
- Deliver a safe, welcoming, and high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading employees in a large leisure and aquatic centre or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of pool supervision, plant operations, water quality, and risk management.
- Experience coordinating facility operations, maintenance, bookings, and customer service.
- Ability to manage employee performance and resolve operational issues.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Sound administrative, computer, and reporting capabilities.

Salary/Compensations
- Starts from $86,010 plus superannuation and applicable allowances
