About the Role
The IT School Support provides level 1 and 2 hardware and software support to campus administration, faculty, and students. This role involves diagnosing and resolving system issues, installing and configuring equipment, and managing IT supplies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries concerning system operations.
- Diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems.
- Provide updates to the Campus President on open tickets and problem resolutions.
- Track, prioritize, and document requests using an IT support request system.
- Install and configure new computers and IT equipment.
- Repair and upgrade computer hardware and software.
- Track IT supplies and equipment.
- Perform regular updates to servers.
- Install and build cables for the campus.
- Examine current systems and research new software/hardware relevant to campus functions.
- Document systems processes and procedures.
- Set up student accounts.
- Troubleshoot student inquiries regarding account access, laptops for online classes, and course software.
- Set up administration, staff, and faculty accounts, including computers, printers/scanners, and department-specific software.
- Educate administration and faculty on equipment and software basics.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of IT support experience.
Location
- Interior/Office
Work Type
- Forty per week but may vary daily.
- Some evening and weekend hours may be required.

- Associates degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
