About the Role
Equal Parts is building the operating system for modern insurance agencies, using acquisitions, in-house operations, and AI systems to create a platform that scales relationships. The Senior Product Manager will own a core layer of the platform, focusing on foundational systems, operational workflows, integrations, and automation. This role involves working closely with engineering, operations, agencies, and finance, and directly engaging with agency users to understand and solve their problems.
Responsibilities
- Own problems end to end, from problem framing to shipped, measured outcomes.
- Set direction and prioritize effectively when faced with multiple urgent needs.
- Collaborate directly with agency owners, producers, and operators to identify key problems.
- Partner with engineering on core platform systems, including data foundation, operational workflows, integrations, and automation.
- Drive acquisition integration workstreams, encompassing data migrations, reporting standardization, and operational tooling.
- Ensure the platform is agent-ready by instrumenting systems for safe, data-driven automation.
Requirements
- 6+ years in product management with a track record of end-to-end product ownership.
- Demonstrated measurable impact in previous roles.
- Experience working directly with users to understand their problems.
- Experience with complex systems to solve user problems.
- Strong product instincts and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Technical fluency, including comfort with data models, workflows, and system design discussions with engineers.
- A genuine appetite for ambiguity and defining product areas in an early-stage environment.
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or other operationally complex, regulated industries is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with AI and agentic systems, including prototyping, is a plus.
- Experience with data platforms, BI tools, or data warehouses is a plus.
- Experience with financial systems, accounting, commissions, or revenue operations is a plus.
- Experience leading data migrations, system implementations, or acquisition integrations is a plus.
- Experience working directly with founders and executives is a plus.
