About the Role

Accor operates Qantas Lounges globally, providing a relaxing start to holidays, an efficient workspace between flights, and a welcoming pause on the way to anywhere. We are seeking a Storeperson to join our fast-paced environment and provide high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure correct documentation is completed for all goods entering and leaving the stores.
  • Receive goods in accordance with quantities and quality stated in purchase orders and specifications.
  • Coordinate and perform monthly stock takes and counts, entering details into the Inventory System.
  • Produce monthly stock reports including usage and stock on hand.
  • Maintain Inventory System Files.
  • Periodically review stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions.
  • Distribute goods promptly to sub-stores or user departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness, neat arrangement, and proper storage of goods in stores.
  • Maintain and secure all storage areas to prevent losses.
  • Ensure all goods returned to suppliers are properly authorized and accounted for.
  • Adhere to purchasing procedures as detailed in the department’s policies and procedures manual.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role is beneficial.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items.
  • Ability to lift heavy items continuously (10-40kg).
  • Understanding of safety and airport security protocols.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
  • Communication skills to speak with suppliers and managers.
  • Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check.
