About the Role

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties at our various properties in San Francisco, providing essential support to the Property Managers, Compliance Coordinators and Maintenance teams. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage their time efficiently, work independently, and handle both property-related tasks and office responsibilities. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Property Management.
  • Post notices and distribute communications to tenants promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate and meet with vendors for property repairs, maintenance, and service needs.
  • Assist with building inspections and ensure compliance with property management standards.
  • Make keys, program entry codes, and maintain security access systems for authorized personnel.
  • Complete office-based tasks such as sorting mail, maintaining records, and supporting administrative projects.
  • Drive to various properties throughout San Francisco to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tasks performed and escalate issues or concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, vendors, and colleagues to support seamless operations.
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Proficiency.
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
  • Proactive self-starter with a willingness to take on new challenges.
