About the Role

Sword Canada is seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented HR Coordinator to manage end-to-end recruitment, advise employees on HR matters, and support talent attraction and retention. This role is crucial for attracting and hiring great people to support high-volume hiring for large-scale events and will involve collaboration with Operations and Scheduling teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for seasonal and casual positions.
• Coordinate high-volume recruitment campaigns for operational and event-based roles.
• Screen applications and schedule interviews.
• Organize and facilitate group interviews.
• Work closely with the Operations Team to understand staffing requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Prepare contracts and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate new starter inductions and ensure employees have a positive onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
• Produce recruitment reports and monitor key hiring metrics.
• Provide administrative support to Scheduling.

Requirements

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with managers and candidates.
• Experience using recruitment systems, HRIS and Microsoft Office.
