About the Role

Floor staff team members are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service, potentially working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Team members act as representatives of Regal, upholding the company's mission and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Handling of emergency situations
  • General cleaning duties
  • Compliance with company dress code
  • Operating POS system, including cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed tickets/coupons
  • Up selling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX)
  • Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
  • Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
  • Responding to guest inquiries via phone and in person
  • Operating, preparing, and cleaning concession equipment
  • Complying with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
  • Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods
  • Ensuring required alcohol certification and training are current
  • Selling/serving alcohol if applicable and of legal age
  • Reading and understanding training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination
  • Tearing tickets, collecting stubs, and directing patrons to auditoriums
  • Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
  • Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats
  • Enforcement of MPAA rating system
  • Conducting in-theatre inspections for quality and safety
  • Reporting problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management
  • Performing in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales
  • Cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas
  • Monitoring cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate for selling/serving alcohol
  • Complete the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University
