About the Role
Make Ready Technicians at CAF Management are essential in preparing apartments for new residents. This role ensures each unit meets quality standards through repairs, cleaning, and inspections, contributing to a positive resident experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing basic repairs, painting, and cleaning tasks.
- Inspect units for quality and ensure all systems and appliances are working properly.
- Replace light fixtures, hardware, screens, locks, blinds, and other standard items.
- Report major repair needs to the Lead Maintenance Technician or Property Manager.
- Support the maintenance team with curb appeal projects and minor work orders.
- Ensure make-ready timelines are met to support leasing goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized make-ready area and supply inventory.
Requirements
- Experience with basic apartment or home repairs (painting, drywall, hardware, etc.).
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and maintain a flexible weekday schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in apartment maintenance, turns, or construction (Preferred).
- Bilingual abilities (Preferred).
- Willingness to grow into a full maintenance technician role (Preferred).
