About the Role
As an AI Engineer, you will contribute to the complete rebuild of our platform and group technology. You will join at the beginning of this process, influencing architectural decisions, technology stacks, and standards, and then implementing them. You will be part of a new team in Amsterdam, working closely with the CTO, management, and experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild the group platform step-by-step, focusing on an AI-first, secure, and scalable approach.
- Full-stack development for the new customer platform, including onboarding, trading, and portfolio insights.
- Develop AI-driven automation to enhance process consistency and security.
- Build internal tooling to free up colleagues' time for personal customer contact.
- Make architectural choices prioritizing security, compliance, and continuity.
- Participate in shaping the growth and working methods of the Amsterdam engineering team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a full-stack engineer with production systems.
- Deep, current experience with AI-first development, including LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI tooling.
- Understanding of financial accuracy and the importance of precision in financial transactions; fintech experience is a plus, the mindset is a requirement.
- Strong architectural sense, designing for security, cost, and scale from the outset.
- Ability to work independently and execute quickly without needing a fully defined scope.
- Ownership from idea to live deployment, including critical details.
- Proficiency in Dutch, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ambition to co-shape a team, not just close tickets.
