About the Role
Bridgepoint Consulting is seeking an experienced VP of Finance Accounting to support clients with diverse financial needs. Consultants at this level provide critical senior financial management services, partnering with executives, bankers, and investors to drive growth strategies and implement improvements for mid-sized companies in the Austin metro area.
Responsibilities
- Lead transformative projects within finance organizations.
- Implement improved financial reporting, forecasting, and controls for domestic and global organizations.
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, designing an organizational structure to meet goals.
- Manage the operations of a finance & accounting department and administrative functions for a fast-growing company.
- Perform budgeting and forecasting using complex financial models.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in start-ups, private equity leadership, and Big Four/public accounting is highly preferred.
- A mix of public and private company experience is strongly preferred.
- Foundation in technical accounting/SEC reporting is strongly preferred.
- Experience with SEC filings, implementation of accounting standards, and development/implementation of internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley are highly demanded skills.
- Direct experience working with venture capital and private equity investors.
- Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service.
