About the Role
This is a generalist finance role working directly with the CFO, involved in capital raises, FP&A, investor reporting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. The role offers direct involvement in board meetings, investor calls, and strategic decisions, ideal for those transitioning from investment banking, PE, or VC seeking to build rather than advise.
Responsibilities
- Support fundraising processes end-to-end, including data rooms, investor materials, financial models, and due diligence coordination.
- Own recurring FP&A, encompassing monthly reporting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Build and maintain financial models for unit economics, scenario planning, and strategic decisions.
- Prepare investor updates, board decks, and KPI dashboards.
- Handle ad-hoc finance and strategy projects such as grant applications, partnership economics, and contract analysis.
- Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and legal counsel on compliance, tax, and corporate housekeeping.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or a high-growth startup finance team.
- Excellent financial modeling skills (Excel/Sheets).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining problems before solving them.
- Fluent in English.
- Genuine interest in infrastructure, cloud, or AI markets.
