About the Role
This role serves as a strategic leader responsible for bridging the gap between marketing strategy and sales execution. You will refine and execute a mass-market Go-to-Market strategy, generate warm leads, and coach a team of education experts to effectively convert leads into partnerships, ultimately scaling the organization's impact in the K-12 sector.
Responsibilities
- Refine and execute a Go-To-Market strategy for new service offerings targeting K-12 decision-makers.
- Implement digital, content, and email marketing campaigns to generate inbound leads.
- Develop marketing assets, landing pages, and pitch decks.
- Create a marketing dashboard to track ROI and campaign performance.
- Coach delivery team members on discovery calls, objection handling, and closing techniques.
- Develop a sales playbook including templates, scripts, and processes.
- Establish and manage a CRM system to track leads and conversion rates.
- Manage high-leverage sales opportunities and complex district negotiations.
- Utilize direct sales feedback to refine marketing messaging and product packaging.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience marketing or selling products/services to K-12 school districts.
- Deep understanding of K-12 purchasing cycles, funding streams, and decision-making structures.
- Proven track record of building and executing B2B/B2G lead-generation strategies.
- Experience with brand development tools, CRM, social media, and mass-marketing platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a lean, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
- Deep commitment to educational equity and supporting schools furthest from academic success.
