About the Role
Appliance World is seeking an energetic Sales Associate for its Huntington showroom. This role involves engaging with customers, providing product expertise, and driving sales in a luxury appliance retail environment. Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the showroom and understand their needs.
- Assist clients in selecting premium home appliances.
- Ensure a positive and upscale shopping experience.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the appliance lineup.
- Guide clients through product comparisons and explain features/benefits.
- Meet and exceed personal sales targets.
- Contribute to the store's overall success.
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal.
- Stay up-to-date on appliance trends, new products, and industry developments.
- Attend trainings and team meetings.
Requirements
- 1+ years of customer service experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; friendly and attentive.
- Clear communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a retail schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items up to 50–75 lbs (with assistance if needed).
