About the Role
Fragment is seeking its first Solutions Architect to manage the technical integration of its platform with enterprise customers. This role is critical for closing deals and ensuring customer go-lives by owning the technical aspects of customer IT interactions, including architecture reviews, security questionnaires, and integration delivery. You will collaborate closely with sales and deployment teams, acting as the technical authority.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical leadership, owning architecture discussions and scoping integration feasibility.
- Manage security review tracks, driving infosec questionnaires and compliance reviews.
- Build integrations connecting Fragment to customer SAP instances and adjacent systems.
- Define integration patterns, reusable connector designs, and documentation as the first hire in this function.
- Partner with engineering to harden and expand Fragment's integration layer based on field learnings.
- Contribute to whatever needs to get done in a startup environment.
Requirements
- Credibility with Fortune 500 enterprise architects, CISOs, and SAP Basis administrators.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar and customized enterprise landscapes.
- Expertise in treating security reviews as a critical process for deal closure.
- Ability to take ownership under pressure and proactively address challenges.
- Experience integrating to or within SAP environments.
- Experience with enterprise software meeting enterprise IT.
- Depth in SAP landscapes with the ability to flex beyond them.
- Hands-on experience shipping integrations.
- Experience in an early-stage company or building out a new function is a plus.
- Exposure to Oracle ERP, Coupa, Ariba, or other procurement/source-to-pay platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or enterprise compliance processes is a plus.
- Exposure to agentic AI, LLMs, or automation platforms is a plus.
- ABAP literacy is a plus.
