About the Role

Be integral to delivering a range of construction, engineering and maintenance services, ensuring a safe and reliable network for the people of NSW. Play a key role in connecting communities so they can work, rest, and play.

Responsibilities

  • Perform major periodic and regular routine maintenance on mechanical signal assets.
  • Carry out upgrades, renewals, inspections, and corrections.
  • Support the network by working nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Be available for on-call duties.
  • Live away from home if required.

Requirements

  • Hold a licence to practice as a Signals Mechanical worker (Sectioner).
  • Have experience working in a safety-focused construction or maintenance environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to undertake manual work and work with technical and industrial equipment.
  • Follow technical work-related instructions.
  • Hold a current unrestricted class C driver’s licence.
  • Happy driving a small truck, 4WD, or ute.
  • Take health and safety seriously.
  • Be passionate about being part of a team that delivers impactful health and safety outcomes.
  • Be an excellent communicator.
  • Be able to collaborate with others.
  • May have aspirations to become a future leader, learn new skills, gain qualifications, and progress career.
