About the Role

Responsibilities
- Observe and assist with medication counts.
- Observe and assist with medication pours.
- Ensure client appointments are scheduled.
- Assist in charting of client medical information.
- Provide medication and wellness patient education.
- Participate in daily IDD Nursing huddles.
- Participate in weekly supervision.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a degree program that will grant credit hours for the internship.
- Must be an associate level nursing student.
- Prior experience in nursing is a plus.
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and competency at all times.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for moderate periods of time.
- Able to work in open space floor plan.
- Must be capable to move throughout the workday and follow individuals.
- Work alongside individuals within 3 feet.
- Occasional lifting of > 15+ pounds.
