About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design and optimize systems at scale for high throughput and low latency.
- Build resilient data pipelines maintaining consistency across distributed systems.
- Deploy and operate services across cloud providers using cloud-native infrastructure.
- Develop platform capabilities that enable self-service for internal teams.
- Handle complex tasks and projects autonomously with proactive communication.
- Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain team quality standards.
- Collaborate with teams to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
- Use data to measure the impact of delivered features.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems and data-heavy platforms.
- Strong experience with JVM-based languages, specifically Java or Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with event streaming systems like Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, or Flink.
- Understanding of change data capture, backpressure management, and delivery semantics.
- Familiarity with cloud primitives such as S3, object storage, and message queues.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code.
- Identity verification, which may include biometric data, is a condition of employment.
