Responsibilities

• Design and optimize systems at scale for high throughput and low latency.
• Build resilient data pipelines maintaining consistency across distributed systems.
• Deploy and operate services across cloud providers using cloud-native infrastructure.
• Develop platform capabilities that enable self-service for internal teams.
• Handle complex tasks and projects autonomously with proactive communication.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain team quality standards.
• Collaborate with teams to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
• Use data to measure the impact of delivered features.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems and data-heavy platforms.
• Strong experience with JVM-based languages, specifically Java or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with event streaming systems like Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, or Flink.
• Understanding of change data capture, backpressure management, and delivery semantics.
• Familiarity with cloud primitives such as S3, object storage, and message queues.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code.
• Identity verification, which may include biometric data, is a condition of employment.
