About the Role

Red Hat is seeking an individual to drive the execution of Subscription Education program initiatives and sales performance within the Japan market. This role involves collaborating with sales teams, partners, and end customers to promote the Red Hat subscription model.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue collection through education and enforcement of Red Hat's subscription model.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets by identifying compliance issues, negotiating with customers and account teams, and tracking performance in the CRM.
  • Mentor regional sales teams and partners on the Red Hat subscription model and requirements.
  • Provide ongoing education to regional sales teams and partners.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate behavior by Red Hat employees and end customers.
  • Educate partners on Red Hat partner programs and ensure timely reporting of Red Hat consumption.
  • Initiate and implement the Subscription Asset Management (SAM) program within the region.
  • Work directly with non-compliant customers to resolve legal concerns.
  • Track, measure, and enforce compliance-related opportunities, providing metrics to the Global Subscription Education and Awareness team.
  • Identify, report, and correct subscription abuse within the target region.
  • Document and distribute compliance best practices for regional sales teams.
  • Create and distribute region-specific marketing and messaging for the program.
  • Identify applicable regional external compliance standards relevant to Red Hat's value proposition.
  • Educate regional sales teams on external compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Experience from Big 4 and/or Software Asset Management, ITAM, Licence & Contract Compliance is preferred.
  • High level of initiative, drive, and intelligence; strong self-starter.
  • Good judgment in potentially sensitive and/or difficult situations.
  • Detail and process-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good commercial skills including program/project management, proposal development, and data analytics.
  • Possess sales, business development, and marketing skills.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to use and track revenue generation using Salesforce.com.
  • Previous Sales, Software Licensing and Compliance, Business Development, Contract Reviews experience.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 5+ years of related experience in sales, business development, compliance, legal, or management fields is preferred.
