About the Role

As the Account Manager, you will represent Cytiva and act as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for its Bioprocess segment across San Francisco (Bay Area), California. Cytiva's vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Expand business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins.
• Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities relevant to the account.
• Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services.
• Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, and initiating/planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
• Negotiate master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions, and facilitate tender responses in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
• 3+ years commercial experience, preferably from the Biotechnology industry.
• Sales techniques including cross-selling, upselling, value positions, solution selling, and funnel management.
• Business market knowledge.
