About the Role

S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Director, Multi-Asset Product Management to lead the development, management, and commercial promotion of systematic multi-asset and equity derivatives indices. This senior role focuses on options-based strategies for ETFs, structured products, insurance, and institutional applications, requiring a blend of quantitative expertise and commercial acumen to influence stakeholders across a global matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, development, and launch of systematic multi-asset and equity derivatives indices with a focus on options-based strategies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to create transparent, rules-based methodologies for various investment applications.
  • Influence cross-functional teams including Research & Design, Index Governance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert in client meetings, product pitches, trainings, and conferences.
  • Translate complex derivatives-based index strategies into clear commercial narratives and client solutions.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, white papers, and product positioning materials.
  • Maintain deep understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities.
  • Manage the existing multi-asset index suite to grow adoption, linked assets, and revenue.
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for enhancements and lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in systematic index, QIS, or product strategy, or derivatives-focused roles.
  • Strong quantitative background with a technical understanding of index construction and derivatives.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience developing options-based strategies and translating objectives into systematic, investable rules.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders cross-functionally without direct people-management authority.
  • Clear commercial mindset with experience supporting product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Indefinite right to work in the United States.
