Responsibilities
- Lead strategic placemaking across major growth areas.
- Develop shared visions with stakeholders.
- Lead complex partnerships, including BIDs, to support growth programmes.
- Translate strategic objectives into practical, deliverable initiatives.
- Develop and deliver area-based plans.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and advisors.
- Oversee the delivery of regeneration projects from a placemaking perspective.
- Secure external funding.
- Negotiate with developers.
- Commission consultants.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and programme delivery.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships within the Placemaking Framework.
- Influence senior decision-making.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Experienced and driven professional.
- Must have experience in developing and delivering area-based plans.
- Must have experience managing multidisciplinary teams and advisors.
- Must have experience overseeing the delivery of regeneration projects from a placemaking perspective.
- Must have experience securing external funding.
- Must have experience negotiating with developers.
- Must have experience commissioning consultants.
- Must have experience ensuring strong governance, risk management, and programme delivery.
- Must have experience building strong internal and external partnerships.
- Must have experience influencing senior decision-making.
- Must have experience ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
