About the Role

Schwab Technology Services (STS) enables the future of how clients manage their money by providing innovative and reliable technological products and services. Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS) Technology supports the technology needs of SAMS, the investment advisor for Schwab’s proprietary mutual funds and ETFs. As a Sr. Developer, you will deliver high-quality solutions meeting business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. You will be a motivated, organized, and experienced technologist working on next-generation applications for Investment Management, Capital Markets, and Trading.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing delivery environment.
Build next generation of applications that power the future of Investment Management, Capital Markets and Trading.
Hands-on development role, building a client driven technology organization.
Entails full Agile and DevOps model in partnership of SAMS business.
Designs/develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs.
Lead application components of moderate complexity.
Provide technical design input in overall project.
Focus on quality based on Schwab’s standards.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
At least 4-years of professional experience developing enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Springboot, SQL Server, JSON, REST.
Recent experience working in Agile teams.
Some experience with cloud/ cloud foundry platform; GCP or AWS will be a plus.
Experience in building services-based software for portfolio optimization using industrial optimization products like Axioma, Gurobi, etc.
Any experience in the Financial domain with Options strategies and trading will be great plus.
