About the Role
The Senior People & Culture Partner supports the delivery of Transform's people strategy, partnering with leaders across the business to build an inclusive, high-performing and engaging workplace. This role plays an important part in shaping and delivering people initiatives that support the continued growth of Transform, leveraging data, AI, and automation to improve processes and adapt to the evolving world of work. Regular visibility across the business, including monthly travel to Manchester, is required to foster a connected employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to support the delivery of the people strategy and ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people and organisational matters.
- Provide guidance on performance, development, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
- Support leaders in building high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Implement and continuously evolve Transform's people strategy.
- Bring external insight, ideas, and best practice to improve people practices.
- Align people initiatives with employee experience priorities.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends, influence decision making, and contribute to leadership discussions.
- Build strong relationships across all Transform locations to support collaboration and a consistent people experience.
- Manage and develop the People Coordinator, providing guidance and coaching.
- Oversee the delivery of employee lifecycle processes.
- Develop a strong understanding of systems used across the business to identify issues and improve problem-solving.
- Support the development of capability within the People function.
- Facilitate a community-focused Inclusion Council.
- Support the DE&I Board in delivering Transform's DE&I strategy.
- Support Transform's social value commitments.
- Use data and insight to monitor DE&I progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support engagement initiatives and employee feedback mechanisms.
- Analyse employee data to identify trends and opportunities to improve engagement and retention.
- Lead the delivery and ongoing development of performance and development processes.
- Partner with leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, providing advice and support.
- Support and deliver people communications, including organisational change initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters.
- Build confidence in managing complex employee relations cases and coach leaders.
- Oversee family leave processes.
- Provide oversight and quality assurance on visa, mobility, and immigration processes.
- Continuously improve people processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure people operations are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with policies.
- Empower and develop the People Coordinator by providing coaching and acting as an escalation point.
- Lead the continuous improvement of people systems and processes.
- Ensure HR systems, integrations, data quality, and reporting are maintained to a high standard.
- Drive the implementation and optimisation of HR technology and digital tools.
- Use people data and insights to inform recommendations and support business decisions.
- Support the Head of People in delivering organisational development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal policies.
- Maintain and continuously improve people policies and procedures.
- Co-design and deliver initiatives that strengthen Transform’s culture and overall employee experience.
- Shape culture initiatives that reinforce values and behaviour.
- Act as a key connector across teams and office locations.
- Build relationships across the business that encourage collaboration.
- Support cross-office initiatives that strengthen knowledge sharing.
- Deliver internal communications in partnership with Marketing.
- Lead and support the Culture Club in delivering activities.
- Lead and support the Wellbeing team in delivering initiatives.
Requirements
- Experienced People Partner who builds trusted relationships, influences senior leaders, and confidently challenges where appropriate.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of identifying opportunities for improvement and turning ideas into practical, sustainable solutions.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge, including UK employment law.
- Confident in managing complex employee relations matters while coaching leaders.
- Proficient in using people data, technology, AI, and automation to improve processes, influence decisions, and enhance the employee experience.
- Takes pride in building trusted relationships and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
