About the Role

The Performance Process Engineer is responsible for plant analysis, performance monitoring, and testing to track status, identify shortfalls, and implement improvements. This role ensures optimal output and efficiency of waste throughput and power generation equipment, while providing training and mentorship to technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
  • Improve plant operating capability, asset utilization, process optimization, and equipment reliability
  • Elaborate and analyze monthly operation and performance reports
  • Analyze costs, breakdowns, cause/damage, installation downtimes, and equipment frequencies
  • Track and trend data to diagnose issues and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance departments to resolve issues
  • Contribute to improvement projects, including requirements gathering and operational startup
  • Lead root cause analysis and feasibility studies for new technology
  • Lead special projects to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Provide operational training and refreshers to the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in power generation or a similar industry
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in an EfW facility
  • Knowledge of analysis methods such as FMEA and RCM
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics plant performance
  • Advanced English proficiency
