About the Role
Urban Egg is opening its newest location and is hiring an opening team. Join from day one to help create an exceptional dining experience in our latest Urban Egg!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet timing standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar culinary role in a full-service restaurant
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
- Daytime, weekend and occasional evening availability for events
