About the Role
Serve guests, provide table maintenance, and ensure efficient restaurant operations by supporting servers and maintaining cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Obtain service area assignment at the start of each shift.
- Greet guests promptly and provide bread, butter, and water.
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide necessary replacements.
- Clear tables after guests depart and transport items to the dishroom.
- Clean table tops, chairs, booths, and floors between seatings.
- Reset and arrange tabletops.
- Inspect and clean restrooms every 30 minutes.
- Respond to guest requests and communicate needs to servers.
- Coordinate with servers and hosts to ensure efficient seating and service.
- Assist servers with food delivery during peak periods or for large parties.
- Thank guests upon departure.
- Support restaurant operations as directed by management.
Requirements
- Active Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Working knowledge of the predominant language of guests.
- Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
- Ability to stand for up to 5 hours.
Experience Level
- No previous restaurant experience required
