About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Senior Advisor with deep regional and local expertise to support strategic regulatory engagement and market access initiatives for communications satellites across key regions, including the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, East Africa, Southern Africa, Latin America, and the CIS.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on regulatory and policy developments across the region.
- Support engagement with national stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Leverage existing relationships to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Provide insights on regional dynamics across organizations such as APT, CTU, ATU, CITEL, CARICOM, ASEAN, EACO, SADC, and related institutions.
- Support the development and execution of advocacy and engagement strategies in regional and multilateral fora.
- Contribute to policy analysis and briefing materials tailored to regional stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for capacity building, partnerships, and strategic engagement across the region.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in telecommunications policy, regulation, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and policy landscape in your region.
- Experience working with or within government ministries, regulatory authorities, or international/regional organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence policy discussions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
