About the Role
Competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner. Builds confidence and cooperation through patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May be responsible for specific procedures and orienting other staff.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program provided prior to start date.
- ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist and evidence of application for CRT/DRT provided prior to start date OR CRT/DRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist (from state where work is being performed) provided prior to start date.
- ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist provided prior to start date.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
- RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate.
Skills
- General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
- Experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.
- Capable of performing routine radiographic examinations.
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- General knowledge of related information systems (Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and picture archive and communication system (PACS)).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
- Ability to ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI).
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers.
