About the Role
Doodle is a B2B SaaS platform used by millions of professionals to coordinate meetings and collaboration. We are expanding into a broader productivity and coordination platform, creating significant technical challenges at scale. We seek a Systems Builder excited by reactive programming, event-driven architectures, and processing time across global time zones.
Responsibilities
- Own the Backend: Design and ship high-performance services in Go and Java that serve millions of global users.
- Wrangle "Time": Tackle the logic behind global scheduling, where millisecond precision meets complex human variables.
- Scale High: Optimize core platforms for massive concurrency and global distribution.
- Lead the Standard: Champion clean code and CI/CD excellence.
Requirements
- Deep grasp of DS/Algo and distributed systems.
- Professional experience in Go and/or Java.
- Experience shipping production-ready backend services.
- Understanding of Events, Kafka, and reactive systems.
- Ability to build for scale.
- Based in Germany with full work authorization.
