About the Role
This role involves responsibilities in either Commercial Pricing or Technical Pricing, or both. The Commercial Pricing area focuses on FSA authorization, rate change proposals, and coordination with other departments. The Technical Pricing area involves advanced modeling, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing new technologies. Both areas require portfolio analysis and action plan development.
Responsibilities
- Handle FSA authorization, including preparing basic documents and negotiation.
- Develop rate change proposals aligned with company strategy and implement them.
- Coordinate with other departments for rate changes, including internal approvals, operational explanations, and IT development.
- Create risk and demand models using GLM and advanced data science techniques.
- Validate and monitor models.
- Propose new pricing segmentation and underwriting rules.
- Lead the practical application of pricing optimization models.
- Propose innovative data analysis and modeling methods using advanced algorithms like machine learning.
- Establish systems for implementing innovative technologies in practice.
- Analyze portfolio changes based on internal and external factors.
- Investigate the impact of rate changes and formulate action plans.
Requirements
- Experience in Commercial Pricing: Pricing experience in non-life insurance (auto insurance pricing is a plus).
- Knowledge of actuarial science, statistical analysis, and non-life insurance regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis (SQL, Python, etc.).
- Experience with FSA authorization negotiation is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with modeling (GLM, etc.) is a plus.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Experience in Technical Pricing: Advanced knowledge and experience in data analysis (SQL, Python, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience with modeling (GLM, etc.).
- Knowledge and application experience with machine learning.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Pricing experience in non-life insurance is a plus.
- Experience with FSA authorization negotiation is a plus.
- Ability to clearly explain complex analytical results quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Strong leadership and cooperation skills.
- Innovative mindset.
- English proficiency is a plus.
