About the Role
Project Accountants at Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) are vital for maintaining financial health and integrity. This role prepares detailed AIA billings and manages change order documentation for general contractors, ensuring project profitability and trust.
Responsibilities
- Ensure billing practices are in full compliance with contract terms
- Prepare and send out monthly Payment Applications/Invoices to General Contractors
- Execute and invoice job-specific change orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Process and manage lien releases as required
- Prepare monthly project analyses to confirm that billing goals and revenue targets are met
- Complete job statement reconciliations and provide clear financial analysis
- Partner with collections and accounting teams to reconcile any variances in payment applications
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external Project Managers regarding monthly billing status and change orders
- Serve as a liaison between finance and operations to support accurate and timely billing workflows
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Accounting and corporate objectives
Requirements
- 1-2 years of prior Project Accounting/Billing Analyst experience required
- Proven experience to effectively communicate between internal and external client stakeholders is required
- Ability to work well under deadlines and respond to changes in priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
