About the Role

They demonstrate excellence in performing tasks like drawing blood and taking EKGs, acting as the eyes and ears of the nursing department and collaborating with nurses and nursing attendants to raise the bar and Put Patients First.
Responsibilities
- Drawing blood
- Taking an EKG
- Monitoring vital signs
- Blood glucose testing
Requirements
- Minimum of one year current Nursing Attendant experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
- Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant
- All roles require on-site presence
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP
