About the Role
Lead the creation of high-end short-drama series using Generative AI as the primary production engine. This role requires a visionary storyteller who can translate classic film theory into AI-assisted filmmaking, taking projects from concept to final master.
Responsibilities
- Lead the narrative strategy and maintain a cohesive "look and feel" across a complete short drama series.
- Apply mastery of lighting, composition, and performance to AI outputs, ensuring high-end television quality.
- Use AI-assisted tools to build storyboards, shot lists, and backplates aligned with directorial vision.
- Be responsible for the final "director's cut," including generation, assembly, and refinement using AI tools.
- Oversee and perform cleanup of AI artifacts to ensure visual consistency and a seamless cinematic experience.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and respects intellectual property standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Film Director or Showrunner with a portfolio demonstrating a deep grasp of "the language of film."
- Expert understanding of film theory, pacing, and evoking human emotion through a lens.
- Basic, functional understanding of AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Luma) and a strong desire to learn more.
- Expert-level skills in Non-Linear Editing (NLE) software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid.
- High-level proficiency in After Effects or similar tools for masking, compositing, and post-production fixes.
- Ability to find creative workarounds for current AI technology limitations.
- Good English proficiency for reading scripts.
- Experience working in remote creative teams in English.
- Portfolio with relevant work is required.
- Strong personal creative projects using AI tools.
- Include a 1-5 minute AI video or experimental film in the portfolio.
- Instagram profile with updated videos.
- Explanation of responsibilities in video content.
