About the Role
Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area, supporting a 30-year-old man in the community and at home. The role focuses on providing comfort and support, including transportation, and ensuring safety.
Responsibilities
- Transporting the individual out into the community.
- Helping the individual be comfortable.
- Helping the individual be safe.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
- Must abide by ARISE/EFR's technology policy.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
