About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Connect personally with donors, listen to their stories, and explain the impact of their donation.
  • Collaborate with teammates to foster a welcoming and friendly environment for volunteer donors.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure collected blood meets goals, regulatory requirements, and is safe for transfusion.

Requirements

  • Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Adaptability to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
