About the Role

Five Below is seeking a motivated individual to join our team, contributing to an amazing experience filled with unlimited possibilities. Our culture emphasizes big ideas, super energy, passion, and creating a WOWplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience for a fast, friendly check out.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective duties and excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for efficient sales floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash security, locking, and alarm setting.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including garbage removal, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
