Responsibilities
- Drive quality and patient safety initiatives for transplant patients by offering expert consulting, analysis, improvement facilitation, and program management to key internal stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance programs that uphold high standards in Quality and Patient Safety while focusing on delivering superior care to patients.
- Research, collect, and analyze critical data to inform strategic decisions.
- Support clients' quality and patient safety initiatives, ensuring they align with the hospital’s strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related position, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement, Organ Transplantation, or Cardiology
- Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications
- Familiarity with quality and performance improvement methods
- Master's degree in a related field (Preferred)
- Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD) (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transplantation or Cardiac Care (Preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) (Preferred)
- Strong data abstraction and analytic skills (Preferred)
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
