Responsibilities

Drive quality and patient safety initiatives for transplant patients by offering expert consulting, analysis, improvement facilitation, and program management to key internal stakeholders.
Develop and enhance programs that uphold high standards in Quality and Patient Safety while focusing on delivering superior care to patients.
Research, collect, and analyze critical data to inform strategic decisions.
Support clients' quality and patient safety initiatives, ensuring they align with the hospital’s strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in a healthcare related position, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement, Organ Transplantation, or Cardiology
Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications
Familiarity with quality and performance improvement methods
Master's degree in a related field (Preferred)
Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD) (Preferred)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transplantation or Cardiac Care (Preferred)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) (Preferred)
Strong data abstraction and analytic skills (Preferred)
Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
