About the Role
Manage a robust, multi-site infrastructure across the UK as a Senior Engineer within a two-person team supporting network operations, security, and maintenance for 11 regional locations. This role is based onsite at the primary London hub with remote management of 10 additional sites.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high availability and secure operations across firewalls, routers, switches, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi architecture.
- Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and SLA-based resolution for incidents and problems.
- Manage firmware updates, configuration backups, security hardening, and OEM/vendor break-fix coordination.
- Deliver local hands-on technical support at the primary London site and remotely manage the remaining 10 sites.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority (P1) operational emergencies outside regular 8x5 business hours.
Requirements
- Active BPSS clearance or full immediate eligibility.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration, multi-site operational management, and security governance.
- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, routing/switching, SD-WAN, and enterprise wireless solutions.
- Must be residing in the UK with the ability to work onsite at the primary London site.
