About the Role

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, including referrals for other bank services, qualifying package of services, and insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed agreed upon mortgage production goals.
  • Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor's guidelines.
  • Adhere to and comply fully with all Truist policies and procedures related to internal and external rules and regulations, particularly State and Federal law.
  • Provide mortgage clients sound mortgage advice based on a full understanding of client needs and Truist Mortgage products and their benefits.
  • Consistently execute on Truist's referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions.
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with client, attorney, or appraiser document follow-up as determined through quality control or post-closing review.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) experience in banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.
  • Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possesses solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check.
