About the Role

Operate a company truck to pick up and deliver hospital linen at multiple medical facilities, ensuring timely and professional service while representing the company positively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload laundry carts.
• Establish professional relationships with customers and provide quality customer service.
• Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance.
• Safely operate company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance and follow hours of service rules.
• Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.
• Meet established route schedules.
• Deliver the product to customers in a timely manner.
• Work past scheduled hours as needed.
• Properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork.
• Perform daily visual inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Cross-train on other routes per department needs.
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent attendance.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels).
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling.
• Valid Class A driver’s license.
• Clean driving record per company policy.
• Be available to drive nights and weekends.
• Ability to speak and read the English language.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead.
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day.
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions.
