About the Role

Five Below is seeking a motivated individual to join their team, focusing on delivering an amazing customer experience and driving store success. This role involves training associates, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring adherence to company values and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members provide excellent customer service through personal interaction.
• Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience for fast and friendly checkouts.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective performance and customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for efficient sales floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash security, locking, and alarm setting.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service optimization.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance, including cleaning and stock room organization.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
