About the Role
ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of building products, offers professional driving opportunities for licensed CDL Drivers. This role ensures the safety of each delivery from start to finish, with no over-the-road travel required. Responsibilities
- Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
- Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos
- Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch
- Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine material placement and unload materials
- Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork precisely and timely
- Provide the customer with an invoice upon delivery completion and collect COD amounts
- Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials onto or off of trucks or into the warehouse as assigned
Requirements
- Valid CDL – Class A or B
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Random drug screens required
Skills
- Knuckle boom experience is preferred
- Crane certification is preferred
