About the Role
The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for promoting a Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels, requiring regular in-field and virtual customer engagement. The role involves launching new products, managing business relationships, securing formulary access, and promoting products within an assigned geography. The HSP will also focus on sales efforts and relationship development with various healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Responsibilities
- Drive sales in assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives.
- Engage with customers both face to face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans.
- Implement live/virtual engagement strategies with customers to maximize overall effectiveness and impact.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments.
- Utilize existing and ever-changing digital tools effectively for successful customer engagement.
- Understand and leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Compliantly leverage product and disease state knowledge using approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources.
- Demonstrate market knowledge, uncovering barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels.
- Collaborate effectively and compliantly with cross-functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Requirements
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
- No DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years.
- Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
- U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.
- This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Experience Level
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Professional Sales or Promotional Activity, Small Business Owner or other Entrepreneurial experience, Marketing, Customer Service and/or Account Management, Relevant Healthcare/Scientific roles, Educator, or Full time Military experience.
- Associate's degree with 6+ years of experience.
- High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical related marketing (preferred)
