About the Role
At Capital One, we are seeking Workday Engineers passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving our company. As part of a team leading the next wave of disruption, you will advance Capital One’s Human Resource Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence, championing automation and driving innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Understand and translate business priorities, integrating HR value proposition and strategies.
- Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits with high standards.
- Effectively communicate across teams, with Product Owners, and stakeholders to influence solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with HR partners on innovative ideas to optimize business results.
- Continually research, test, and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities.
- Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation.
- Serve as the primary contact for system functionality questions from business and technical perspectives.
- Provide production support for Workday, including troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution with the business.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP.
